Pardus 2011.1 brings interesting new features, including the recently released KDE Software Compilation 4.6.5 environment, LibreOffice 3.4 and Mozilla Firefox 5.0 web browser.
The ISO images of Pardus Linux 2011.1 include full support for all officially approved languages. This makes the images bigger than the size of a CD, so users will have to either use an USB flash drive or a blank DVD media in order to burn and install Pardus Linux 2011.1.To ease the transition to Pardus Linux 2011.1, the upgrade-manager package will be available very soon in the 2009 repositories to ease the transition.
